Tish qatorlari nuqsonlari bo‘lgan bemorlarni ortopedik davolash zamonaviy ortopedik stomatologiyaning dolzarb vazifalaridan biri hisoblanadi. O‘zbekiston Respublikasida ushbu patologiya tish-jag‘ tizimining ortopedik kasalliklari orasida yetakchi o‘rinlardan birini egallaydi va so‘nggi yillarda uning tarqalishida ortib bormoqda.
Ushbu patologiyaning rivojlanishiga sabab bo‘luvchi omillardan biri tish-jag‘ tizimining funksional ortiqcha yuklanishidir. Tishlarning yo‘qolishi morfologik, funksional va estetik buzilishlar bilan kechadi. Mazkur holat klinik ko‘rinishlarning xilma-xilligi, kasallik kechish xususiyatlari va natijalarining farqlanishi bilan tavsiflanadi.
Tish qatorlari nuqsonlari bo‘lgan bemorlarni davolashda eng keng qo‘llaniladigan ortopedik konstruksiyalar ko‘priksimon protezlardir. Ularning keng qo‘llanilishi hamda turli xil qoplama turlariga ega bo‘lgan to‘liq quyma ko‘priksimon protezlarning klinik amaliyotga joriy etilishi tish qatorlari nuqsonlari bo‘lgan bemorlarni ortopedik davolashni samarali amalga oshirish imkonini beradi hamda yuqori darajadagi estetika va funksionallikni ta’minlaydi.
