ANALYSIS OF THE WORK OF A DENTIST, AT THE THERAPEUTIC RECEPTION IN THE DIAGNOSTICS AND TROUBLESHOOTING OF DENTAL CARIES

Abstract

The analysis of medical mistakes during the diagnostics and treatment of caries, leading to the decrease of the quality of filling, have been carried out. An expert assessment of the quality of diagnosis, preparation for the treatment and treatment of caries was carried out by 5 dental therapists with at least 5 years of experience, who are able to make the aesthetic restoration of teeth. An absence of statistics of medical mistakes in the treatment of caries leads to an absence of understanding the processes and concentration on the causes of mistakes' occurrence, reduces the quality of treatment and increases the number of complications.

Absence of treatment or ineffective treatment of initial caries, lack of consideration of enamel mineral density and insufficient use of remineralizing therapy have been established; the main reason for the low effectiveness of caries treatment is the disaccordance between the types of filling materials to the functional group or the functional surface of the teeth.
