Abstract

The analysis of the results of studies on the assessment of the contribution of polymorphic loci of the folate cycle genes to the mechanisms of HPLC formation indicates that the genetic component is quite complex, in which the specific role of any one gene is very small, and their development is more likely the result of the interaction of polymorphic variants of several genes in combinations with the influence of exogenous factors. In this connection, further study of molecular genetic mechanisms, the search for molecular genetic determinants that contribute to the formation of congenital malformations of the maxillofacial region among the Uzbek population seems to be very interesting and relevant.
