Inson tanasida turli xil mikroorganizmlar mavjud bo`lib ular, zamburug`lar, bakteriyalar, viruslar va boshqalardir. Bular ichida psevdomembranoz kandidoz bolalar og`zida keng tarqalgan zamburug`li infeksiya bo`lib, uning qo`zg`atuvchilari ichida eng keng uchrovchi turi Candida albicans hisoblanadi. Kasallik odatda immunitet susayishi natijasida yuzaga keladi, bu esa mahalliy yoki tizimli bo`lishi mumkin. Yani, go`daklar va qariyalarda (ektremal yosh), orttirilgan immunitet tanqisligi sindromida , surunkali ravishda antibiotiklar va steroid dori vositalarni tez–tez qabul qilish natijasida ushbu kasallik yuzaga keladi.
