Abstract

There is an extensive review of scientific points of view on some aspects of the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process, on the basis of which a position is formulated on the issue of distance learning, speaking of it as a tool for productive activities of students. Modernization of education, increasing the requirements for training a new generation of graduates have led to the need to update the educational process, create a new organizational structure of management and informatization of the educational space. In recent decades, the technology of distance learning (hereinafter referred to as distance learning) has been intensively developed, which helps to solve one of the most important constitutional tasks facing the educational sphere - ensuring the human right to education and information. The world has entered the telecommunications phase of information development. Since knowledge is rapidly updated, the modern person should be prepared for the fact that he will have to learn throughout his life.
