Abstract

This article examines the method of critical thinking on the example of text analysis in the discipline "Reading and Analyzing Text (in Korean)".

Critical thinking, as you know, is not only social thinking, but also independent. Information is already considered a starting point, not an end point, for analysis using critical thinking. Critical thinking techniques should be applied by asking questions and clarifying the problems that need to be solved. According to D. Kluster, teachers who develop critical thinking in the classroom offer to consider various judgments, points of view on the problem, create conditions for students to develop an independent opinion, decision, conclusion.

This approach is extremely necessary, for the reason that today there is a problem of training highly qualified specialists not only with knowledge of a foreign language in the field of professional activity, but with skills of critical thinking, able to apply knowledge of a foreign language for a high level of communication.
