EGOISM AS A SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PHENOMENON

The article describes the manifestations of egoism in human behavior at different ages, its manifestations, types and causes. As you know, the manifestation of egoism in human behavior is assessed negatively and affects the position of a person in society. Analysis of the literature shows that egoism remains one of the least studied personality traits and there is no commonality in scientific ideas about the psychological content and essence of egoism.The article analyzes the theoretical views of scientists on egoism, as well as our experimental research. The results were analyzed, the levels of egoism were determined and the corresponding conclusions were drawn.
