PALEONTOLOGICAL AND STRATIGRAPHIC RESEARCH IN UZBEKISTAN

The article deals with paleontological and stratigraphic studies from 1946 to now in Uzbekistan. For many years, the Paleontological and Stratigraphic Service of Uzbekistan has been successfully solving the complex tasks of biostratigraphic dissection and correlation of deposits of various Phanerozoic systems of Uzbekistan. Today, paleontologists of the Kitab Geological National Natural Park carry out research work on biostratigraphic dissection and correlation of deposits of various Phanerozoic systems of Uzbekistan, and also ensure that all paleontological and stratigraphic sections and outcrops, modern fauna and flora are preserved in a state of absolute inviolability.
