Abstract

Studying the philosophical thoughts of Confucius and Socrates can be carried out by studying their texts and writings. For Confucius, the Analects was the most important text, recording his words, deeds, and doctrines. For Socrates, important texts include Plato's dialogues and the writings of Aristotle. By carefully analyzing these texts, one can understand their ideological perspectives and methodologies. This article is dedicated to theoretical and methodological basis in the study of the philosophy of Confucius and Socrates in the context of comparative studies.
