TENDENCIES OF DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE OF LOGIC IN THE EPOCH OF EASTERN REVIVAL

The French philosopher Alexandre Coyret's "Essays on the History of Philosophical Thought" suggested that the development of philosophy, including the science of logic, stopped in the Islamic world from the 13th century. He wrote that the prosperity of Arab-Islamic civilization did not last long, the Arab world lost or rather abandoned the classical heritage accumulated by the Latin West. Is this really the case? If so, what are the reasons? These questions determined the theme of our article. We sought an answer to the question posed above by analyzing the trends in the development of the science of logic during the Eastern Renaissance. For this purpose, we have analyzed the works of some authors who studied the history of Arabic logic, and have presented the results of our research in this article.
