Abstract

This article, using the example of the history of the twentieth century, reflects on the principles of the concept of cultural capital, the merits of the nation’s intellectuals in preserving the history and national memory of Uzbekistan. The works of philologist, professor Khamidulla Akbarov, such as “Whirlwind Days, Joyful Moments”, “Golden section of life activity”, “Harmonious Seasons, Pleasant Companions” are bright pages in the history of Uzbek culture, Uzbek theater, art, journalism. In these works, the phenomenon of culture as a whole in the twentieth century is analyzed as a unique phenomenon, a source describing immortal memories. The national and spiritual transformation of the world of art and culture of the last century during the period of independence of our country is examined in certain aspects.
