Tadqiqotning maqsadi — bolalarda surunkali kataral gingivitni davolashning zamonaviy usullarini dalillarga asoslangan tibbiyot nuqtayi nazaridan tizimli tahlil qilishdan iborat. Mahalliy va xorijiy adabiyotlar tahlil qilindi, 3 yoshdan 15 yoshgacha bo‘lgan 2876 nafar bolani qamrab olgan tasodifiy klinik tadqiqotlar (RCT) asosida meta-tahlil o‘tkazildi. Tahlil natijalariga ko‘ra, professional gigiyena, antiseptik vositalar, immunomodulyatorlar va fotodinamik terapiyani o‘z ichiga olgan kompleks protokollar yuqori samaradorlikni ko‘rsatdi. Yosh, mikrobiom holati va xavf omillarini hisobga olgan holda individual yondashuv zarurligi asoslab berildi. Ilmiy asoslangan davolash sxemalari taklif etildi.
