ADVANTAGES OF MASSIVE OPEN ONLINE COURSES IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of methods of using massive open online courses to ensure the quality of higher education, it examines the regulatory framework, factors, criteria and problems of quality assurance in higher education, and also draws attention to the mechanisms and issues of effective use of massive open online courses in quality assurance of higher education. The article analyzes the massive open online courses from the point of view of ensuring the quality of education provided by well-known educational platforms and sites on the Internet. Among the conclusions and proposals were developed recommendations on the use of massive open online courses for organizing the educational process of the university in the form of "blended learning".
