RESEARCH INSTALLATION FOR SEPARATING LONG FIBERS FROM COTTON WASTE OF COTTON CLEANING PLANTS

This article discusses the operation of a device designed to separate long fibers from fibrous waste generated in gin.
In the course of the study, the number of fractions in the fiber mixture produced at the enterprise and the properties of short fibers were studied, a technological scheme of a new device for separating fibers was developed, the principle of its operation was presented and the main factors affecting its productivity were determined. Then the tests of the device in production conditions and their results were presented.
