It systematically demonstrates how a speaker uses lies as a means of politeness in the process of communication and their impact on the listener’s image. This study serves as a valuable scientific resource not only in the field of pragmatic theory but also in the context of intercultural communication. In the process of verbal communication, a number of linguistic behavioral factors play an important role in ensuring effective communication. These factors include speech politeness as well as the concepts of the listener’s positive and negative “image.”
