DESCRIPTION OF AVIATION TERMS IN THE EXPLANATORY DICTIONARIES OF UZBEK LANGUAGE

In interpreting the meaning of aviation terms, it is expedient to make effective use of lexicographic traditions in Uzbek linguistics, which reached one of its highest peaks in the twentieth century. This article discusses the definition of terms in the field of aviation in the explanatory dictionaries of Uzbek language, and offers suggestions for the interpretation of the meanings of words in Uzbek dictionary in different types of dictionaries. The article describes the analysis of terms in the field of aviation on the basis of lexicographic laws and rules that have become a tradition in Uzbek linguistics. Aviation terms, like other industry terms, differ significantly from general-purpose units by the specificity of formal-structural features. According to the structure of field terms are divided into simple, compound terms. In general, the concept is mainly expressed in the form of rounded lexemes, phrases, and only in some cases, free combinations, while in aviation the number of lexeme-terms is much less than the number of compound-terms. There is a formal- spiritual inconsistency in compound terms. If on the formal side of compound terms the signs of free conjugation predominate, and they show some syntactic features, it can be seen that on the spiritual side the signs of integrity, the signs of stagnation, predominate.
