METHODS FOR DISTINGUISHING MEANINGFUL POSSESSIVE AND QUALITATIVE POSSESSIVE SYNTAXES IN THE SYSTEM OF UNRELATED LANGUAGES

Syntactic units representing a possessive category or possessive syntaxes are associated with the main component on the basis of a subordinating relation. According to the expression of possessive syntaxes, when considered on the basis of the collected factual material, they act in the scope of categorical-differential syntactic-semantic symbols, substantive and clarifying syntaxes, but no possessive syntax based on the third categorical symbol was found. Therefore, in this chapter, we want to focus on the processes that distinguish substantive possessive and qualitative possessive syntaxes from each other.
