ABOUT CORONEOLOGISMS IN THE ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES

The article provides information about English neologisms and their Uzbek equivalents that appeared during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the pandemic, there was a significant change in neologisms, which is considered one of the main aspects of the field of sociolinguistics, as a result of which the new scientific term “coroneologism” was included in the list of linguistic terms. To date, coroneologisms have been studied to some extent by a number of foreign scientists, but this topic has practically not been studied by Uzbek researchers. The main purpose of writing the article is to study coroneologisms in English, Russian and other languages, to determine their Uzbek equivalents.
