SYNTACTIC EXPRESSION OF QUANTITATIVE ASPECTUALITY IN ENGLISH

Abstract

In English, as we know, multiple iterative meanings are manifested simultaneously with the finiteness / non-finiteness of the verb, with the help of various stylistic and syntactic devices in the context. In English, short reduplication or multiple reduplication occurs with the help of certain verb lexemes or some morphological devices. He mentioned that repetition in the process of repetitive action performed by a certain person is carried out by grammatical means, that is, idioms. In this work, the author argued that repeated actions in English are formed both by verb lexemes and by morphological units.
