This article focuses on the differences between homonyms, homophones, homographs, homoforms and paronyms in different languages. Along with the analysis of the features of linguistic phenomena, the criteria for their differentiation discussed using examples. Research was include of using an extensive analysis of modern linguistic and lexical material.
