DYNAMICS OF THE WOUND PROCESS AFTER HAEMORRHOIDECTOMY
Keywords:
chronic haemorrhoids, surgical treatment, wound repairAbstract
A total of 224 patients with chronic internal and combined haemorrhoids were included in this study. The main group consisted of 122 patients. The correction of chronic haemorrhoids in them was performed in a mini-invasive way using a hardware-controlled bipolar electrosurgical unit ‘Ligasure’. The control group consisted of 102 patients operated by the traditional surgical method according to Milligan-Morgan. The use of bipolar electrocoagulation of vessels ‘Ligasure’ in the treatment of chronic haemorrhoids allows to achieve rapid wound repair compared to traditional haemorrhoidectomy, which reduces the period of rehabilitation.
