The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of hybrid surgical interventions in the treatment of acute purulent cholangitis (APC) and their impact on disease outcomes.
Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of 78 patients with APC who underwent hybrid surgical interventions in the surgical department of the Samarkand branch of the Republican Center for Emergency Medical Care from 2018 to 2023 was conducted.
Study results. Hybrid techniques have shown high clinical efficacy, providing rapid relief of the inflammatory process, reducing the incidence of postoperative complications and shortening the duration of hospitalization. Minimal mortality was noted in the group of patients who underwent combined endoscopic and laparoscopic treatment.
Conclusion. Hybrid surgical approaches are a promising direction in the treatment of acute purulent cholangitis, allowing for individualization of treatment tactics, minimization of surgical trauma and improvement of clinical outcomes. Their use is recommended for widespread clinical practice in specialized surgical centers.
