DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CHRONIC TONSILLITIS IN CHILDREN AT THE PRESENT STAGE (LITERATURE REVIEW)
Keywords:
chronic inflammation, chronic tonsillitis, tonsils, conservative therapy, combination therapyAbstract
Nowadays based on the results of numerous studies, very often inflammatory pathology of the ENT organs leads to chronicization of the process, especially if the process is localized in the palatine tonsils. It has not yet been established exactly about the onset of irreversible pathological changes in the structure of the palatine tonsils, which would serve as an indication for tonsilectomy.
The basis for conducting this study was the high frequency of occurrence and significance of CMV and EBV in childhood. Manifestations of cytomegalovirus infection, if it is diagnosed as congenital, then it is well studied and described in detail in the scientific literature. A number of scientific studies are being conducted all over the world aimed at using modern diagnostic methods to determine the etiological factors of chronic adenoiditis and chronic tonsillitis in children and improving methods of etiological treatment. In this regard, conducting scientific research on the timely identification of the etiological factor of chronic adenoiditis and chronic tonsillitis in children, characterizing the anamnestic data of the clinical course, indicators of cytokines and humoral immunity, determining their relationship, developing etiopathogenetic methods of treatment, as well as improving the set of measures for the implementation effective treatments are essential.
