В настоящее время обсуждается важность гемодинамических, метаболических и генетических факторов в развитии волчаночного нефрита. Особенно с большим интересом изучается роль генетических факторов, обусловливающих развитие волчаночного нефрита. Но клинико-патогенетическая и прогностическая значимости генов у пациентов с ЛН до конца не изучены, и нет однозначного ответа на вопрос о генетической предрасположенности, вызывающей развитие ЛН.
