Ҳозирги кунда ЛНнинг ривожланишидаги гемодинамик, метаболик ва генетик омилларнинг ахамияти муҳокама қилинмоқда. Айниқса ЛНнинг ривожланишини прогноз қилувчи генетик омилларнинг тутган ўрни катта қизиқиш билан ўрганилмоқда. Аммо ЛН билан оғриган беморларда генларнинг клиник-патогенетик ахамияти ва прогностик роли тўлиқ ўрганилмаган ва ЛН ривожланишига сабаб бўлувчи генетик мойиллик масаласида аниқ бир тўхтам мавжуд эмас.
