Саломатликни сақлашда спортчиларнинг стоматологик касалланиши ҳам алоҳида ўрин тутади, бу статистиканинг кўрсатишича, юқори даражада бўлиб қолади, бу еса уни ўрганиш, асраш ва олдини олишнинг долзарблигини белгилайди. Россияда спортчилар тиш ҳолати бўйича сўнгги тадқиқотлар тиш кариес тарқалиши ва CПИ индекс ҳисоблаш пайтида унинг интенсивлиги юқори ўртача суръатларини тасдиқлаш, шунинг учун уларнинг ўртача қиймати 6.3 гача еди.
