Abstract

his article analyzes the formation of digital markets in Uzbekistan and the issues of implementing competition policy within them. In the digital economy, e-commerce, fintech services, and platform-based business models are actively developing, shaping new rules of the competitive environment. At the same time, high market concentration, information asymmetry, and algorithmic pricing create the necessity to improve traditional competition policy. The article highlights institutional, economic, and innovative approaches to conducting competition policy in Uzbekistan’s digital markets and develops proposals aimed at ensuring effective competition.
