HISTORY OF PARTNERSHIP RELATIONS BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION (1992 – 2013)

The article discusses the agreements signed between the two countries, particularly the 2005 Treaty on Allied Relations and the 2004 Agreement on Strategic Partnership, as well as the outcomes achieved within the framework of these agreements. These treaties have served as a foundation for the development of large joint projects in the fields of security, trade and economic relations, energy, oil, and gas. Major Russian companies such as Gazprom and Lukoil have been actively involved in gas extraction in Uzbekistan.Additionally, the article highlights the cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in cultural, scientific, and educational spheres.
