THE POSITION OF EDUCATION IN JIZAK IN THE COLONIAL PERIOD

The article describes the scientific views of the researcher on the development of public education in Jizzakh during the colonial period. It provides for the construction of new schools in Jizzakh and the implementation of measures to provide them with qualified teaching staff and teaching aids. In addition, on the basis of scientific literature and archival materials, the growth in the number of students in educational institutions and the desire of Jizzakh residents for freedom, development and confidence in the future under a dictatorial regime are analyzed.
