STRATEGY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) IN UZBEKISTAN

The article highlights the issues of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) based on the Global Indicator System and close cooperation. In the field of ecology, special attention is paid to issues of mitigating the effects of climate change, adapting to it, especially the problems of the Aral Sea region, as well as the conservation and rational use of water, land and energy resources, and the conservation of biodiversity.
The World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg also announced the creation of a new International Institute for Partnership Initiatives. The Central Asia initiative, which is included in the Global Implementation Plan and aims to develop and implement subregional sustainable development strategies, was considered a separate component.
