Since time immemorial, the Turkestan region has maintained stable foreign trade relations based on mutual equality. However, with the establishment of the Russian Empire's colonial system in the region, free trade relations were abolished, and the country's foreign trade relations were subject to imperial regulations. Trade relations were established primarily with the Russian Empire. Turkestan's trade relations with other countries were mediated by the Russian Empire. Historical literature in Russian plays a significant role in elucidating these processes. This article analyzes the main content and essence of historical literature.
