THE STUDY OF JADIDISM ISSUES IN TWENTY-FIRST-CENTURY TURKISH HISTORIOGRAPHY

The article is devoted to the study of issues related to the Jadids, Jadidism, and their activities in XXI-century Turkish historiography. It discusses the fact that, since the 20 s of the twenty-first century, the large-scale study of Jadidism once again became one of the relevant scholarly directions in Turkish historiography. In Turkish historiography, the Jadids’ enlightenment activities, their initiatives in establishing new-method schools, and their participation in the press began to be analyzed as a distinct object of research.
