FROM THE ACTIVITIES OF SANITARY-EPIDEMIOLOGICAL CONTROL ORGANIZATIONS IN UZBEKISTAN IN THE 1930s

This article analyzes the struggle waged by public health organizations of Uzbekistan against infectious and parasitic diseases in the 1930s. The Soviet government's policy of industrialization and collectivization increased the risk of the spread of infectious diseases in the country. In order to regulate sanitary affairs and combat infectious diseases, the State Sanitary Inspectorate and sanitary stations were established. However, their activities, coming into conflict with industrial enterprises, exposed the true aims of the Soviet government.
