METROLOGICAL SYSTEM OF KHIVA KHANATE

The article on the basis of historical documents examines metric units that were used in the late Middle Ages in the Khiva Khanatе and the differences between the sizes of thоse units. Special attention in the study is paid to the definition of metrological units, describing the measures of length, volume, area, weight, and methods of their application in practice. In addition, the author carries out a comparative analysis of the data given in the historical with other well-known historical sources.
