The basis of the progress of advanced economies is a strong civil society. Uzbekistan also chose the direction of formation of a similar society. In this matter, the development of civil society institutions is of particular importance. This article is about the work done in this direction in the republic over the years of independence. Despite the lack of sufficient experience in this area, an analysis was carried out on the example of world experience, its implementation.
