Abstract

The article describes the cultural processes in Uzbekistan in 1917-1941, the essence of the reforms carried out by the Soviet state in the cultural sphere and its goals. After the establishment of Soviet power in Turkestan, the class approach aimed at denying the national spiritual heritage became a priority.
