This article is devoted to the history of customs and customs tariffs in Central Asia, which covers the origin of the first customs duties, the origin of checkpoints, and customs duties in the states of Mongolia and the Timurid domain. It also emphasizes the importance of caravan routes, the activities of caravanserais, the customs inspectors of that time, and how tax revenues were distributed.
