DEMOGRAPHIO ISSUES IN UZBEKISTAN IN 20-YEARS IN THE XX IN CENTURY

The article focuses on the demographic situation in Uzbekistan in the 20s of the 20th century, its peculiarities, the differences between urban and rural population, and employment. In addition, the processes related to the national composition and age composition of the population are studied. The population growth rates of the republic and its causes are analyzed. Migration processes are studied in the country based on the results of the alliance census.

In may 1929 the issue of Khojand district being included in the Tajik ASSR was considered, In October of the same year, it was reorganized into an allied republic and seceded from Uzbekistan.
