CONSERVATION AND MUSEUMIFICATION THE ANCIENT NACULAR IMAGES OF UZBEKISTAN

The article examines to petroglyphs, which found in the last quarter in the territory of Uzbekistan, in particular on the mountain ranges of Gissar, Nurata, Gubdin, in the upper reaches of the Yangiabad and Karabogsay streams of the Angren oasis, as well as in the Fergana Valley, Ulugtag and Kyzildara. In particular, with the help of scientific literature and sources, are revealed methods of museumification of the rock art monuments of Zarautsay and Siypantash as well as their conservation on the example of rock images of Sarmishsay. Suggestions and recommendations are given for the study, storage, museification and transformation of rock paintings, protected by the state, into tourist attractions. Also briefly described the foreign experience of chemical cleaning methods of inscriptions on stone monuments
