RESEARCHES OF WESTERN EUROPEAN SCIENTISTS OF THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY IN THE FIELD OF ARCHIVISION

This article is devoted to the problems of historiography of the archival sphere, in particular, it provides information about the scientific research of Western European scholars of the early 20th century, devoted to the issues of the activities of archives, as well as the theoretical and practical aspects of archival science. The problem is considered in the context of Russian scholars' assessment of the problems of archival studies by specialists from Western Europe in the period under review.
