This article provides information on the use of modern technologies in archaeological research and their advantages. He also spoke about the use of the Geographic Information System (GIS) in modern archaeological research and its unique role in providing archaeological conclusions. In addition, the author noted the advantages of using QGIS, SRTM, SAPR, ESRI and other programs in the field of archeology, which are important areas of the Geographic Information System. The content of the article in short, information about the use of GIS programs in the development of the science of archeology is given.
