Abstract

In order to study the history of the Hephthalite state in more depth, it is necessary to pay special attention to European historiography, as European historians have tried to reflect the history of the Huns more fully, despite the limited sources of this period. This article discusses the extent to which the history of the Hephthalites has been studied and analyzed in German historiography, and whether it is consistent with the data recorded by Chinese and Arab historians.
