This article analyzes the works on volumes about the history of Uzbekistan published since the late 40s of the twentieth century, as well as integrated works created in the first decades of the XXI century, in which separate chapters are devoted to this historical event and its consequences. In particular, great attention in the analysis of works is paid to the sources used, presentation of historical events, heroic personalities of this period, as well as methodological approaches used by historians of XX-th., beginning of XXI centuries.
