FROM THE HISTORY OF THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE MODERN TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN UZBEKISTAN

This article analyzes the introduction of the modern transport system to Turkestan in the late 19th - early 20th centuries and the processes of its development. The article is significant because the author focused on the role of the transport system in the socio-economic changes that took place in Turkestan at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the attitude of the local population to the changes in the field of technology, and the activities of the cities in the country in the formation of the transport base.
