The article describes the geographical landscape of Uzbekistan, which is located in the center of the Central Asian region, the characteristics of the natural and economic regions of Tashkent, Fergana, Zarafshan, Surkhan and Khorezm. Due to the repeated paleotectonic movements of the Earth's geology in the Tertiary and Quaternary periods of the Cenazoic era, natural regions with unique paleogeographical features were created. According to published historical data, 4-3 million years ago, the land we live on was flat. Between 500,000 and 12,000 years ago, Pleistocene glaciers covered the territory of Uzbekistan. In the archaeological literature, the emergence of man into this world is marked by the lower stage of the Old Stone Age Ashelian in the history of Uzbekistan.
