HISTORY OF THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL IN THE CITY OF NAMANGAN

The article examines the formation and development of the regional hospital located in the city of Namangan, the health policy of the Soviet government in 1917-1967 based on the activities of this hospital. Based on the study of this topic, an objective evaluation of the period has been attempted. Positive changes in the field of public health and medical services in the Uzbek SSR, as well as shortcomings, have been researched on the basis of archival data.
The establishment of the central hospital of Namangan region, the personnel working in it and the level of their financial support, the issue of equipping it with modern medical equipment and laboratories are highlighted.
In addition, special attention was paid to the policy of the Soviet government in issues such as the provision of medical services and health care system to the population of Namangan, issues such as training of specialists.
