ISSUES OF THE TERRITORIAL LOCATION OF THE ANCIENT KHORAZM NOMADICATORS

The geographical structure of the Khorezm oasis and the unique aspect of water supply created the basis for the creation of nomadic livestock farming. The relief of the oasis is a predominantly flat plain with a slight slope to the north and northwest. Due to the low slope, the Amu Darya branches and flows slowly. They built canals and ditches along the banks of the Okchadarya on the right bank and Sarykamysh on the left bank, and expanded agricultural oases. From the Okchadarya basin, the Amirabad, Tozabogyop and Kaltaminor canals were built, and the artificial irrigation system was improved.
In the article is analyzed the territorial location of nomadic pastoralists and their way of life using the example of the history of ancient Khorezm.
