REUNIFITED GERMANY: SOCIO-ECONOMIC PROBLEMS

Divided Germany was reunited in 1990. As a result of unification, the differences between East and West Germany became clear. This article reveals the socio-economic problems that engulfed the country after unification. At the same time, issues that need to be implemented for the socio-economic development of the eastern parts of the country have been identified. In addition, despite the difficult economic and social situation that arose after the unification of the German states, it turned out that the “Unification Chancellor” Helmut Kohl attempted to restore the country.
