ISSUES OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS AND GENDER EQUALITY IN THE PROGRESSIVE JADID MOVEMENT

The article examines the issues of women's rights and gender equality in the Jadidist movement, as well as the importance of the activities of enlightened women in the development of society. The main slogan of the Jadids is “Freedom, equality, justice,” and under this slogan they completed an educational task that contributed to the intellectual development of a person, mastery of political norms, values, legal consciousness, interest in political life, and served to improve the political culture of women. It is based on the fact that the idea of the Jadids is completely compatible and harmonious with the strategy of the New Uzbekistan.
