Abstract

This article analyzes the formation and development of laws and legal documents related to the preservation, study and use of historical-cultural and archaeological heritage objects in the years of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On the basis of legal documents, the main stages of the policy of protection of archaeological monuments are covered. The role of existing laws in practice and their role in international cooperation are scientifically assessed in the article. In this scientific work, after the independence of Uzbekistan, the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, especially archaeological monuments, and the political and legal development of Uzbekistan are highlighted. It contains an analysis of the essence of the laws and regulations adopted for the preservation, research and long-term preservation of historical monuments. by the Law "On the purchase and use of objects of cultural heritage" adopted in 2001, the legal basis of the state policy will be shown on the basis of the Presidential decrees and the relevant decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers. Provides practical assistance such as obtaining a list of archaeological monuments, restoration and organization of scientific expeditions. Analysis of the importance of the preservation of material resources carried out in cooperation with foreign economic activities. In the abstract, Uzbekistan's efforts to restore its historical roots, realize its national identity, and its renaissance on a global scale are studied as an object of research.
